Stormborn Wrap

Keep yourself cosy on windy days with the Stormborn Wrap! The large, oversized triangle is worked from the centre out, to create a drapey and relaxed scarf. This design varies basic stitch techniques (bobbles and mesh) so that this project has enough variety to keep you interested all throughout the pattern. The sleek and modern design is topped with large, chunky tassels for a touch of whimsy! Check out the free crochet pattern and video tutorial on forthefrills.com!

Timeless Teal Chevron Blanket

There is something timeless and classic about a good chevron blanket. I have made my Timeless Teal Chevron Blanket so many times for baby showers that I could probably crochet one in my sleep. This blanket is honestly a huge hit no matter what colour I make it in. I have even made it in colours that I wasn't particularly drawn to and ended up loving it so much I kept it for my daugther. Using Bernat Blanket Stripes yarn, (my go-to blanket yarn) which is a super bulky, size 6 yarn, this blanket works up in a jiffy. I have made one in two evenings or about 6 to 8 hours.

Farmhouse Striped Kitchen Towel

I've been meaning to make a couple new crochet kitchen towels, but I wanted something a little less traditional in style. Having to constantly pick up the towels off the floor and wash them because they've slipped off the oven handle yet again, gets old in a quick hurry. After designing the Buffalo Plaid Kitchen Towel, I realized how much I loved the style and immediately started on the Farmhouse Striped Kitchen Towel. I hope you find that these towels will also make great gifts!

Crochet Heart Potholder

When the love is in the air I made this heart shaped potholder to spread the love into the kitchen, too. The Crochet Heart Potholder is an easy and a fun little crochet project you can make in less than an hour. The pattern begins from the bottom and work in rounds so when the color change to make pink and white stripes you can carry up the yarn from inside when needs. No need to worry too much about weaving ends. At the end you will have a beautiful double thickness heart potholder. The pattern makes great gift for your loved ones, friends, teachers and especially who love to cook.

Cascade Crochet Wrap

Cascade is the last pattern in the falling blocks collection, and the only one that can be found free on my blog. It is a wrap made in a wedge shape, which happens to be one of my favorite shapes to make. I just love the asymmetry of it! This pattern can be a bit challenging to start, but once you get the hang of it you will plow right along! Made with Wonderland yarns Mad Hatter.
