Vegetable Market Bag

This unique market bag has a pretty row of carrots along the bottom to remind you to pick up some veggies when you are shopping. Made with cotton yarn this bag is nice an sturdy. I used my own Carrot Stitch along the bottom, but all other stitches are just basic crochet stitches. I have provided a video tutorial to help you through the carrot stitch. You will love taking the show stopping bag to the farmer's market.

Knotted Rainbow Tote Bag

I love crocheting tote bags - they are super handy, fun to crochet, and make great gifts! And I had a lot of fun playing with the colors and stitches in the Knotted Rainbow Tote Bag - a free crochet tote bag pattern here on Moogly! The "knotted" part of this rainbow is the handles! They are quick and easy to crochet (because we all know when you get to the handles, you're eager to finish the project), and because of the way they are added to the bag, they are very easy to replace if they get dirty or damaged.

Beachy Keen Tote Bag

When Mikey crocheted the Beachy Keen Cover Up, I thought it would be fun to crochet a matching tote bag. I used the same Bernat Maker Home Dec yarn in Aqua. My finished bag measures 12″ x 12″, not including the handles. I used 150 grams of the 250 gram ball, so there is plenty of extra if you'd like to make your tote bag bigger. If you are interested in a wider bag, then start with a longer chain keeping it odd, for an even number of beginning single crochets. If you would like a taller bag, then work more pattern rounds.

Trinity Stitch Crochet Bag

Carry all of your work-in-progress patterns in this cute and colorful Trinity Stitch Crochet Bag. This handy little bag is not too large and not too small, which makes it the perfect bag to tote around all of your projects around in. Use Caron Cotton Cakes yarn, or any other variegated yarn, to work up this multicolored miracle without extra ends to weave in. The sweet stripes of this bag are made up of rows of trinity stitch, with waistcoat stitch edging for a wonderful texture.

Give Me Variety Tote Bag

The crochet pattern for this bag was created specifically with variegated yarn in mind. Yarns that have a quick-changing color can be tricky to work with, as they steal the show and diminish stitch definition. Sometimes (a lot of the time), simple really is best. You'll only need 1 skein of solid color worsted weight yarn for the bottom and top, and one variegated for the body. Two solid colors (or more) would look great too! I used Loops and Threads Impeccable, that created the best "spiraling" effect with this crochet bag. Red Heart Soft looked pretty too, but in a different way, sort of speckled.
