Timeless Teal Chevron Blanket

There is something timeless and classic about a good chevron blanket. I have made my Timeless Teal Chevron Blanket so many times for baby showers that I could probably crochet one in my sleep. This blanket is honestly a huge hit no matter what colour I make it in. I have even made it in colours that I wasn’t particularly drawn to and ended up loving it so much I kept it for my daugther. Using Bernat Blanket Stripes yarn, (my go-to blanket yarn) which is a super bulky, size 6 yarn, this blanket works up in a jiffy. I have made one in two evenings or about 6 to 8 hours.

Granny Stripes Blanket

To begin with, here is a real classic that would be so welcome in any boho or retro setting. Overall, this is a great pattern for using up yarn ends, as there is just no need to make large patches in any single color. Moreover, a simple, straight black border gives it that finished and designed look.
