This Crochet Market Bag would be great for shopping at the grocery store or farmer’s market, carrying other crochet projects or going to the pool. Basic crochet stiches - single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet stitches are all you need to know to make this Market Bag. The instructions have detailed directions for crocheting the handle. The bag measures approximately 16" x 9” (not including the handles). The handles are short and sturdy. Some shoulder straps really stretch and almost make the bag unusable, so I created this bag to be a ‘handbag’ and not a shoulder bag.
