Celebration Wine Bag

Crochet Bags

It's time to celebrate! The holidays, the new year, and the hope of good things to come. Like a pair of lovely wines in the Celebration Wine Bag! The Celebration Wine Bag was based on a request I received from several readers - for a wine bag made to hold two bottles rather than just one! Perfect for gifting a white and red, or just taking two of your favorites to your next party, this bag keeps them safe and lets you carry them in style! This pattern takes just one ball of Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick Bonus Bundle (or 2 balls of the regular size Wool-Ease Thick and Quick), and a couple of evenings to whip up! And the bobbles on the front look like snowballs - so fun!

Downtown Bag

Crochet Bags

The Downtown Bag is a super fun bag to make and use. The depth is great for anything from magazines to everyday items. Its bamboo handle adds character and a super cute and stylish element to the design. The Downtown Bag works up fast and the bobbles make a lovely look that adds some texture and some depth. Use a yarn that will hold up to travel and use for a bag that will last for long time.

My Go To Bag

Crochet Bags

Straps 26 inches long and 2 inches wide Bag 17 inches long by 15 inches wide when measured on a flat surface Handle Drop 14 inches My Go To Bag is my practical, everyday crocheted bag. I wanted a bag I could use for everything - from beach bag to book bag - a single crocheted base gives this bag extra support - the first few rounds are crocheted in double crochet and then the main bag is worked up in an easy to work granny stitch stripe pattern. I chose to make my straps slightly wider than most bags because when you fill the bag and the straps stretch, they will remain comfortable on your shoulders. If you would like to have a narrower strap, it is very easy to change the width of the strap. Simply add one extra decrease repeat of: Sc2tog, 1 sc in each of the next 2 sts, sc2tog. Ch 1, turn. 4 in place of R11 of the straps and for R80 work: 2 sc in the first st, 1 sc in each of the next 2 sts, 2 sc in the last st, ch 1, turn. 6. Have fun making this simple, attractive and practical Go To Bag! You can substitute any yarn and hook for this stitch pattern - just remember when you substitute if your gauge is different, the finished size of your project will also be different.
