Crochet Egg Gathering Apron Free Pattern
There are so many ways to gather eggs: a vintage basket, a repurposed bucket, a recycled egg carton etc. But have you seen the crochet egg gathering apron with 19 perfectly egg-shaped pockets before? It even has one large pocket which can hold cell phone, to-do list, pen or other items. It's such a practical and adorable way to gather eggs from your flock. It is a fun and superior replacement to the traditional basket. There will no more broken eggs or struggling with lids and latches with limited use of your hands. If you want to have your own special apron like this, here is the Crochet Apron Free Pattern for you. If you've got kiddos who love helping out around the farm, you can even get them a child-sized pattern. It's also the perfect accessory for the coming Easter egg hunting. Thanks Ashlea for sharing this free crochet pattern on hearthookhome.com. The link for the free pattern is provided below photo. If you need easy-to-read PDF pattern, you can buy adult size from here or kids size from here. It costs around $4 or $2. Happy crocheting.
Crochet Cactus Potholders
Cacti are happy, bright, summery, and fun - so Crochet Cactus Potholders are perfect for your kitchen! These thick squishy crocheted hot pads make great trivets too! The key to the Crochet Cactus Potholders is to use 100% cotton yarn - Red Heart Scrubby Smoothie! With cotton yarn, you can use these Cacti with hot dishes without worrying about melting your project on your next hot dish. The Crochet Cactus Potholders are a set - there's a tall cactus and a ball cactus, both kitchen ready. But they aren’t limited to being just potholders! The tall cactus also would make a great oven mitt if you sew two of them together. And the Ball Cactus would be super cute under a real flower pot! However you use them, they are sure to brighten up your table.
Bunny Ears Egg Cozy Pattern
Crochet Easter egg cozies add decoration to your eggs whether you've painted them or not. They can be full cozies that enclose the entire egg or crochet egg hats like the one pictured here. This free pattern from Alessandra Taccia is a simple representation of a pair of bunny ears.
Dutch Skies Potholders
These potholders are easily styled for each kitchen decor! As they are large and supple (about 19 cm or 7,5in diameter) there's surely enough surface to keep your hand from burning while baking your delicious food. I would recommend cotton for the potholders, as it is easily to wash and and heat-resistant. In this pattern I used Phildar Phil Coton 3, but any other cotton will do! I used 5 different colours (4 for the body and 1 for the edging) but again, this is completely up to your imagination! Enjoy, and make some potholders! And when youre done, make some more! Because you can never ever have to many potholders, right? ps. They make an amazing house-warming gift!
