Technicolor Dream Free Crochet Pattern
- Designed by Karin Åshammar/Virklust
I totally love Tecnicolor Dream Mandala, because lacy edging gives it lightness and cuteness. What's more, the symmetry of the shapes is something I really love! In other words, this pattern is not only easy, but also really beautiful, therefore ideal for a spring decoration. Moreover, it will make such a fun gift!
Spring Day Free Crochet Pattern

ThisSpring Day Mandala looks really beautiful and gentle, doesn't it? The openings between the threads give the impression that this mandala is made of lace. I love such delicate patterns and you can match it to your preferences!
Whimsical Pumpkin Coaster
How to crochet a whimsical pumpkin coaster that is perfect for Fall decorating or on the Thanksgiving table under some Pumpkin Spice coffee. You'll need 20 yards of worsted weight cotton yarn per coaster - I used WeCrochet Dishie for mine, but Lily Sugar n Cream, Bernat Handicrafter and Red Heart Smoothie are good alternatives. If you are only making a coaster that will house a cold or hot beverage, you can use acrylic as an alternative (like Red Heart Super Saver) with an I9/5.5mm hook - just do not put anything fresh from the oven on the acrylic coaster, or you will melt the fibers and risk burning yourself. I was able to work up one coaster in just over 15 minutes.
Granny Chevron Table Runner: Quick and Easy Stitch Pattern
If you love the classic look of chevrons, and the granny stitch in crochet, you'll love this piece! The Granny Chevron Table Runner is made with simple repeats of chain and double crochet stitches, using the classic look of a granny stitch to create a chevron design! This table runner has three distinct chevron points, created by skipping over stitches (decreasing) and adding multiple stitches (increasing). The classic granny stitch is used here to add even more depth and texture to this table runner - making this a true statement piece for the center of your dining table. Once you get started with this piece, and memorize the one repeating row of stitches, it is very quick and easy to work up with very little focus needed! Because this is a piece of decoration, you can use yarn colors, fibers, and weights that you like best. Follow the pattern exactly to make a 44” long runner, or you can easily adjust the pattern length by adding rows until you have a length you love. While this pattern is written to create a table runner, you can use the stitch repeat multiple to work this design into other projects: washcloth, scarf, blanket, rug, and so much more!
