Wanda the Whale and Ned the Narwhal

Introducing Wanda the Whale and her best friend Ned the Narwhal. Aren’t they whaley cute? The patterns for these adorable friends are available for free on my blog. They are accessible for adventurous beginners or those that have experience doing amigurumi. They are easily customized by adding bows, eyelashes etc. and they would make a cute baby shower gift or child's gift. (If you are giving as a gift to a child, I would recommend embroidering eyes as safety eyes can be dangerous for young children).

Zebra Trophy Head Crochet Pattern

If you've got little zoologists on your hands, then you need to make a crochet project they'll adore! This zebra trophy head is the perfect wall decor for your animal enthusiasts. Soft, cushy, elegant, and cute, this zebra crochet pattern will look stunning mounted on any wall.

From the Blogger: "This pattern by Vanessa Mooncie originally appeared in the book Animal Heads: Trophy Heads to Crochetand is shared with permission from GMC Publications. The direction of the zebra’s stripes is determined by the shaping of the head, crocheted in rounds and short rows. The mane is made by attaching tassels to the stitches and brushing through the yarn to tangle the fibers and help it stand on end."

Layla Bunny

Learn how to crochet an adorable bunny with this lovely and cute crochet amigurumi pattern. This lovely little crochet animal is worked up in Patons Wool Roving Yarn and is especially cuddly. This cutie is the perfect project for a new baby or toddler.

From the Designer:"Layla is the newest addition to the B.hooked Crochet family of free patterns and she's definitely one of the brightest! I had so much fun creating her. She is the cutest crochet bunny around! Crochet stuffed animals, or amigurumi as it's often referred to as is one of my favorite forms of crochet. It's so neat watching all the pieces come together and it leaves so much room for creativity. When crafting Layla, I had sweet and simple in mind. I wanted to create a bunny that looks professional but is easy to crochet. She came together in about 5 short evenings of crochet so you have plenty of time to make a few Easter Layla’s of your own!"
