"This Nordic Ice Beanie is made using worsted weight yarn (Lion Brand's Feels Like Butta in Ice and White) and a G 4mm crochet hook. The ribbing is worked flat and then joined in the round. The hat is then worked in the round with two rounds of half double crochet (hdc) followed by a round of hdc puff stitches. You can change colors like I did or make the hat in one solid color. You also have the option of leaving the pom pom off (I just happen to love the look of poms) if you prefer that look. "
