It is a stash busting crochet project to use up all your odd bits and bobs of yarn and make it into something beautiful and useful at the same time! the patterns use aran/worsted weight yarn and 5 mm hook. I used Paintbox Yarns Simply Aran for my crochet square pattern. It is a lovely acrylic yarn to work with. I have opted for 3 different colours to make some of the crochet stitches really pop."

Crochet Snowman Granny Squares Blanket
A couple of years ago I made the Snowman Granny Square. And updated the pattern this year (2016) with my newest blanket pattern I made using these squares together. These smiling snowy faces can stay looking at each other in this Christmas all the time! Attaching these Snowman Granny Squares together, you can make any size blanket or afghan. It means this is a free size pattern. And also Snowman Granny Square Blanket can be worked with your favorite yarn weight. I used sport weight and made 20 squares.
