Between Ridges Blanket

Afghans and Blankets

Between the Ridges Blanket is so cozy and comfy that you'll never want to leave. Snuggle up with a warm drink and good book or ready to those little sweeties under your handmade blanket. Whatever your style of relaxing is, Between the Ridges will keep you toasty snug. This squishy blanket is made with worsted weight yarn and your favorite 6mm hook. I chose Paintbox Aran in Melon Sorbet, which is a gorgeous peachy orange. My favorite thing about this blanket is that the border is made as you go! I kinda love it."

Loops and Ridges Baby Blanket Free Pattern

Afghans and Blankets

"Today I am sharing with you a cute fluffy baby blanket with you all: Loops and Ridges Baby Blanket. This baby blanket has a textured loopy blanket framed by a plain, solid border. The size of the double loop stitch used on the blanket can be adjusted in size and the rib border can be made narrower or thicker. And just to make it easier for you, I also created a full video tutorial that guides you step by step on how to crochet your own Loops and Ridges Baby Blanket. I designed the blanket using DK (light worsted #3) yarn because of the full texture of the blanket, but if you want a thick and warm blanket, you can switch to Aran (worsted #4) yarn."

Everything is Peachy Baby Blanket

Everything is Peachy Baby Blanket

How adorable is this baby blanket? The combination of colors is just so pretty and the texture created by the different stitches makes this a true treasured keepsake. I used “I Love This Yarn” from Hobby Lobby in peach, gray and white - less than one skein of each color - and a 6.0mm hook. It is suitable for a girl or boy. So, grab your hook and yarn and make this blanket. It is quick and fairly easy to make - only requires knowledge of 3 stitches: single crochet, double crochet and herringbone half double crochet.
