"For the Aurora Slouch, I've combined several simple crochet stitches that add both a nice texture and drape. I personally love the stripes, but testers also made the slouch in a solid color. "After designing the Knit-Look Super Bulky Slouch for adults, I decided that the kids couldn't be left out of the fun! I had to stop at the store to grab… yarn, ummmm yeah, we'll go with that (we won't mention that the real reason I stopped was for a pint of Ben and Jerry's ice cream..shhh…). So I popped over to the yarn aisle and grabbed 2 balls of Lion Brand Hometown USA. I grabbed 2 because I wanted to make sure I had enough to make a big, floppy yarn pom and there's less yardage in Hometown USA than in the Thick and Quick I used for the adult hat. I choose the color Miami Seafoam and it's an absolutely GORGEOUS color. You really need to see it in person!"

"This is an easy crochet pattern worked in simple half double crochet stitches, and includes 7 sizes from Newborn through Adult Large. You'll need worsted weight yarn - I used WeCrochet Swish in Dove Heather for mine, but Lion Brand Wool Ease and Berroco Vintage are similar, or if you need wool-free, try Red Heart Soft or Lion Brand Heartland. If you are a tight crocheter, you'll want a I9/5.5mm crochet hook too. I was able to work up the teen/adult small size in 2 hours."
