Small (5 inch) granny square using a simple technique to gain a raised petal effect. Worked in caron simply soft and 5 mm crochet hook, you can quickly crochet several squares to make a cozy blanket. The raised/puffed petals and leaves give the square a lovely tactile effect and the green colour means that these squares are perfect for spring afghan after all the heavy colours of winter. I gave the square the name ice flower because it reminds me of the brave young flowers shooting up at this time of year.
The Leaves Granny Square Free Crochet Pattern with leaves displayed in a pinwheel shape is a unique square with a lovely and colorful design.
