My finished bag measures 12″ x 12″, not including the handles. I used 150 grams of the 250 gram ball, so there is plenty of extra if you'd like to make your tote bag bigger. If you are interested in a wider bag, then start with a longer chain keeping it odd, for an even number of beginning single crochets. If you would like a taller bag, then work more pattern rounds.
