"The Pebble Hat uses textured stitches - alternating double crochet and linked double crochet - to create a bumpy fabric that reminds me of pebbles (hence the name!). The Adult Large (23") size is available for free on my blog. I've included video tutorials showing the Pebble Stitch and the joining method used for this hat. Chu chunky Pebbles Hat
Although highly textured, this chunky hat can be made in less than an hour. Overall this is a terrific pattern for a fall/winter look. In particular, I love the rich, varied texture that gives this wonderful hat its springiness and intriguing look. Overall, the furry pom pom is the cherry on top.
