Lily Cutie

This crochet potted lily looks impressively lifelike, almost like a real houseplant frozen in yarn. Elegant petals, a well-shaped stem, and balanced proportions give it a refined, realistic presence. You can experiment with different flower shades and pot colors to match any interior. A beautiful decorative piece that stays forever in bloom and adds calm, botanical vibes to a space.

Show Yourself Frozen 2-Inspired Elsa

The evolution of Elsa's hair throughout the Frozen story is one of my favorite details, culminating in the most beautiful scene in Frozen 2. My five-year-old begged for hair down Elsa! This pattern is worked in the round and sewn together at the end. Adventurous beginner (You can do it! Trust me!) Skills used include magic ring, chain stitch, single crochet, slip stitch, single crochet two together (sc2tog), back loops only (blo), changing colors, whipstitch, and simple embroidery.

Materials and Tools

Yarn

Use a smooth, tightly spun sport or DK-weight cotton/cotton-blend yarn so the motifs remain crisp after joining and stuffing.

  • Gray: approximately 100-120 g - outer framing, joining, and structural seams
  • Light blue: approximately 70-90 g - flower petals
  • Cream/white: approximately 40-60 g - flower centers and petal outlines
  • Total: approximately 220-270 g

The exact amount will vary according to yarn brand, tension, and finished size.
