Meet Dexter, my little green dinosaur. He stands 6.7 inches tall, and he is 13 inches long. If you want to make him, here is what you need: crochet hook (4mm/US G), 2 yarns in contrasting colors (Aran weight), 2 safety eyes (6mm), stuffing, and a tapestry needle. This pattern uses US terminology.

The finished toy is 25 cm (ca.10 inches) tall and 13 cm (ca. 5 inches) wide. Complexity level: Lower intermediate / Experienced beginner. Head and body are made as one piece. Legs, cheeks and heart are separate and sewn in. Time to create: depending on your experience may take around a day to complete the project. Materials used: Drops Paris Yarn, 2mm (US B-1), 3mm (D-3) and 4mm (US G-6) crochet hooks; toy stuffing and safety eyes.
