All elements were crocheted using a 3.5mm hook and DK yarn to create a Pokemon approximately 20cm high.
You'll need black, red and denim blue yarn plus white and black fibers for needle-felting, but you could equally crochet some simple white circles with a small black center if you prefer.

TagsPocket Sized Puffin
Make your own tiny colony of puffins with some DK weight yarn and a 2.25 mm crochet hook! You'll also need some polyester stuffing and a tapestry needle. To make the face of my puffin, I used white roving wool and a felting needle. You can always stitch or glue a piece of white felt onto the body instead of felting. This is an intermediate level pattern. There are a few photo tutorials to guide you along the process of assembling your puffin.

Crochet animal patterns like this unicorn make fantastic baby shower gifts.
From the Blogger:"Cuddles is made up of 9 elements - four legs, body, head, two ears and horn. You can work them in any order you like! Before each element is complete, you will need to add stuffing (before the opening is too small). Once each element is complete, I recommend attaching them in this order - front legs to body, head, back legs, ears and horn. Once you have attached all of the elements, bring cuddles to life by embroidering the eyes and adding a mane and tail!"

From the Blogger: "This pattern by Vanessa Mooncie originally appeared in the book Animal Heads: Trophy Heads to Crochetand is shared with permission from GMC Publications. The direction of the zebra’s stripes is determined by the shaping of the head, crocheted in rounds and short rows. The mane is made by attaching tassels to the stitches and brushing through the yarn to tangle the fibers and help it stand on end."
